1. He cries for it. taps my leg for it, leads me to the closet where I keep it and wants me swinging it ALL THE TIME. It even looks like he’s smiling. I’m on my third one. Also, bought a cheaper substitute with the same “fishing pole” idea but it didn’t have the elasticity that makes the toys bounce around. It’s definitely not the same toy and I’m back to buying the original Da Bird.

2. The pole is really huge which makes for thrilling chase for kitty. the attachments are very high quality and it even comes with a real peacock feather!

   Perfect if your can is indoors only. They get bored easily and never get to have the fund of catching animals. Nina never had this much fun in her life. I believe even the laziest cat in the world would play with this toy. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. Makes more sense than buying a bunch of cheap toys that kitty won’t care about.

   Nina is totally hooked. she even likes this better than the laser pointer, which is saying a lot about this toy.

4. Was coming on Amazon to see if there is a guide to when to replace the bird, and began to check the reviews for insight, as go-cat’s website is remarkably underwhelming. I then I realized I should maybe give my review of the product. A friend recommended this to me, as Mr. White loves to play, and as I had just moved with him to town (into a basement apartment) I wanted something that would really get him some exercise. That was over two years ago. We’ve since moved to an upstairs unit with a nice backyard, and he gets plenty of exercise, but he still yearns for the time when we had our 3-day-a-week regimen with Da Bird. Whenever I go into his room, he rubs the poster tube it is stored in. He knows the one, even though there are several and sometimes they change places. As I type this now he is playing with the destroyed remains of the second replacement bird. I let him tear the thing apart when he finally catches and manages to hold onto the bird, to the point where I have to distract him to get it back. And I’ve only gone through one replacement. He’ll continue to chase all the way down to the nub, and he loves it. After the first bird finally became a third it’s original size and wouldn’t fly anymore, I began to drag it along the ground, mimicking a mouse, and he just went wild. I finally used one of the two refill birds and he fell in love with the flying toy all over again. I’m here because I’m thinking that I might just be a bit too frugal in replacing them, but he never seemed to mind. He loves this thing, no matter the shape it’s in, and although he still loves his other toys (interactive or simple), Da Bird is, has, and will be his favorite thing in existence. 5 stars.

5. My girl Sophie loves Da Bird! I keep them on a high shelf when we are not playing with them and when she is ready to play again she will sit and talk to them! This pack is great, you get lots of variety and its nice to have a back up on hand.
