Keeps cat and me busy. I drag it around. Sometimes the cat drags it to another room. I’ve been thru 4 or 5 of these. Watch out for vacuum cleaner.

Forget “ball on a string”, “catnip anything”, etc. This is absolutely the best toy ever. Hold the wand lightly between your fingers, give it a twist, and the little mouse hops around in the most unpredictable ways. My cat loves this and will play with it for hours, honestly. In fact, when I put it away, she looks at me as if she’s being punished. Great exercise for the cat and interactive joy for cat and owner too. If you find a better toy, please let me know. I’m buying several of these to keep in reserve.

Our cat sitter brought over one of this a few years ago when I was on a business trip. My boys (now 4 and 5) LOVE this toy. The little one will drag it into bed and leave it on top of me hoping I’ll wake up and play. All the have to do is hear the sound of it and they come running. They will both drop anything for the older version of this toy.

The original version had a flimsy wire and wand but the motion the two made together made my cats crazy. They would play with it until I grew tired. Often times, for up to an hour. I was ordering these 4-6 at a time to make sure I always had one on hand for a friends cats and to insure we’d never go without.

My last order (4 more) is a disappointment. The price is higher. The wand is now sturdier. The end where the wire connects to the wand has been reinforced. The wire is also now an actual wire, no longer a heavy fishing wire or guitar string. Its actual stiff wire that won’t fray and the toy no longer flips and flutters the way the old one did.

The cats were very excited when I opened the packaging. But after the newness wore off (and the big one had chewed the tail off – his favorite thing), they both grew bored and moved on to something else.

5 stars for the reinforced wand. zero stars for the not so improved wire. I have 3 more of these still in the package. I’ll give them to friends cats to see if they are more excited about them than mine are.

I have four cats, and they all love it.

I have given one to my friends who have cats, and they all say that all their cats love it.

I have never seen a single cat that did not like it.

This is, by far, the greatest wand that I’ve ever got for my cats.

I’ve bought this product multiple times, for my own cat and friends’ cats, and there hasn’t been a cat that I know of does not like this toy. My friends even asked me to buy them another one because the cats liked it so much and played with it all the time that they destroyed the toy in a couple weeks of time.
