While it is very convenient because it comes ready to use, the base is not large enough to support the post and platform well enough. I am constantly having to right it because my cat has knocked it over. He knocks it over when scratching his claws or when jumping off of it. The platform on top is really small too so he doesn’t even like to sleep up there. You get what you pay for and next time I will buy a more expensive and sturdier one.
This cat platform is a great value for the price. Arrived ready to use and my kitty loves it!
I bought this to put on my screened in porch for another “look-out area” for my cats. It tips over when they scratch on it and the top panel (look out area) sags whenever a cat is lucky enough to get on it without it tipping over. I wedged it in an area but no luck…it probably needs to be nailed down. Maybe it would be better for a kitten?
