1. This bag is very sturdy and well made. I like the different zippers/ access to my pet, its a nice pink color, and the price is decent compared to other bags I’ve seen of lesser quality. However it is MUCH smaller than I thought it would be. It works well for my kitten now, who is about 6-7lbs. But she is pretty long and if she gets much heavier I can’t imagine her fitting in it very comfortably. I think the “for pets up to 10lbs” thing is a little deceiving here. If you have a tiny pet, small kitten or chihuahua type dog, this will work well for you. Anything bigger though, you might want to get a larger bag than this.

2. I bought this for our small adult cat to fly from Jakarta to LA. It was a snug fit but I think she feels more protected in a small space than a large one. She was able to turn around, which is what matters. It was great to have the reach-in zipper; when she got upset in crowded, noisy areas it really helped to be able to stroke her till she calmed down. You can even use it while walking around the airport.

   I would not bother getting puppy training pads, as many people recommend. I cut one to fit on top of the fuzzy bottom liner but as soon as Susu stood up and turned around it got balled into a useless blob. I think she was too nervous to go, anyway. Even after a very long day of flying it took a few hours before she was able to use the litter box.

3. I have only taken this on one plan trip so I cannot comment on the long term durability of this carrier, but so far it is great. It is sturdy yet flexible enough to fit under the seat of a (Southwest) plane. Features I like – the mesh parts darken the inside so the dog feels secure (I think) but still lets them see out. Also, the bottom piece has a soft, removable (washable) fleece cover.

   Size – I have a 8-9 lb. Italian Greyhound and she was a little crowded in the carrier, but that’s because she has long legs.

   Overall, this is a good quality item and I think it will work well for occasional air travel.

4. I love this product, I have this one and a blue one. My cats have spent tons of time sleeping in them, playing in them, and just having fun with them just lying around the house. When it comes time to pack the cats up and take them somewhere, they walk in by themselves and get comfy while I zipper it up. These cat carriers have become a trusted and welcome space for my cats that makes trips in the car, to the vet, and visiting a much more pleasant experience for all of us.

   I’m comparing this to my last cat who was terrified of the big plastic carrier I carried her in… she’d see it and run away as fast as possible!

5. I purchased this item in store the day I purchased our puppy Chloe. She chose it actually and got inside for the rest of our shopping trip. We use this for our bike rides, I secure it on our back basket which is large and add padding under for shock absorbtion. The zips are great because they lock, Chloe knows how to undo zips. She walks into the carrier without any prompts when she knows we are going on a car or bike trip. I highly recommend this for small puppies and small dogs. The wool liner helps to keep their small bodies warm and it has enough mesh for looking out while on rides or walks, she also is able to turn around in this but snug enough for secure den feel. The pockest are great for her leash, snacks and other items for day out use. I clip on a portable water bottle to one of the plastic clip areas. Great buy.
