Your feline friends won’t be able to resist these colorful fun 2 to 2.5 inch fur balls! They will provide hours of fun and exercise and are a healthy outlet for your cat’s natural pouncing instinct. Each fur ball is approximately 2 to 2.5 inches and come in eye-catching hues. Just the right size for feline pouncing fun! Kittens just LOVE the soft fur and will carry them around everywhere and play fetch. —————— What I like about the Fur Balls is that they are cheap and our cats just love them. Our cats really go wild with them and lose them all the time. They turn up under the stove, refrigerator, couch, tables, chairs, book case, washer, dryer, behind closet doors…. With such a loss rate you have to love the price. Now you can crawl on your hands and knees while trying to fish these toys out from under all your household items too! I keep a box for us at home and every couple of days I let one of the cats pick a ball out to play with and keep.

I ordered these based on the manufacturer’s product description: “catnip-enhanced fabric balls,” assuming that the “fur” that also appeared in the description would be fake. I’m horrified to find that they are all too real, with cores of twisted, hard animal hide. There is no label indicating country or animal of origin, but the very soft fur has a dense undercoat. I had suspected that these might be products of the horrible Chinese trade in cat fur, but the manufacturer has since clarified that they are rabbit fur. I would never knowingly buy a product of animal cruelty, but I’m glad to know that I did not let my cat play with a dead cat. To the company’s credit, CoolCyberCats responded to my question about the fur’s source within minutes and has attempted to remove the “fabric” description, which had been added by another seller.

I bought two of these balls at the animal defense league. Three of my four cats went bonkers. Alistair will even play fetch with them. I toss them up and he jumps to try to catch them. He will carry two in his mouth at once because he gets so excited about fetching them. When I ordered the 24 and dumped them on the floor he went nuts. The other two like playing with them also but they tend to just throw them with their mouths or paws and then try to catch them. Great toy!

My cat Fannie loves fur ball toys and these are great. A good price for a lot of toys.

I hate rating this so low because it may work for some, but I have tried these on four cats and none of them cared. They were only interesting when I put catnip on them. most of the time they’ve been shoved against the wall and forgotten, even when I try to bring them out to play. I ended up taking them to the Humane Society. If it brings joy to at least one cat’s life I’ll be happy.

My cat, Alpine, is addicted. These are a great cat toy but hard to find. Buying the canister is an amazing value for a cat that absolutely loves to play and then destroy each fur ball. Great way for a cat to self entertain. Product did arrive a little damp (not sure how in a sealed container). The fur balls are definitely a hit. I have to hide the container cause I caught my cat sneaking them and creating a stash.
